On the Subject of "All in a Day's Rebuttal"
Wednesday, May 09, 2007 by scott

This cartoon was entitled by the cartooner as "All in a Day's Work". This is another new, as yet unseen guest cartooner whom draws with a similar pen as mine.

But today's cartoon comes not out of random inspiration, but rather as a rebuttal to the previous posts, Anonymously Mocking Co-Workers and Regretting the Mockeries of Co-Workers.

Yes, this cartooner here was the subject of those two cartoons. Now his cartoon has the previous cartooner as its subject. Follow me? I don't care if you do or don't.

Let's put it this way: We'll call the previous cartooner (from the Mocking series) Mr. Cramentulous, and this cartooner here Mr. Blempharette. You see, Mr. Cramentulous wrote those previous two cartoons about Mr. Blempharette. Now, Mr. Blempharette presents his rebuttal to those cartoons, with Mr. Cramentulous as the subject. See it now!

Transcript

Man: Thinking... If I keep all these papers on my desk someone will think I'm working.

Man: While standing on his desk with his arms raised (from what I can tell), he is also: Looking at his girlfriend's feet on the computer while talking to her on the phone about what she wants to do about dinner.

Man: Whispering into phone... "Can I ask you freely what you are making?" Saying loudly... "What stinks! It smells like sweaty feet!"

Man 2: "Ha Ha. I'm going out to smoke."

End.

As you can see, Mr. Blempharette punctuates about as well as Mr. Cramentulous, and his handwriting is about on par with Cramenty's too. They also both put their subject's actions as if they were speaking them. Which is actually pretty funny.

Robot Devil: "You can't just have your characters announce how they feel."
